Wellnest Fertility Welcomes Esteemed Fertility Specialist Dr. Michael J. Heard
Community Invited to Meet Dr. Heard at Open House on Wednesday, May 21 from 5–7 PM MT
South Ogden, UT (May 6th, 2025) – Wellnest Fertility is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Michael J. Heard, F.A.C.O.G., a nationally recognized Reproductive Endocrinologist with over 25 years of experience in fertility care, academic medicine, and women’s health.
Dr. Heard joins the Wellnest team during a time of significant momentum. Since opening its doors in February, the clinic has seen record new patient growth and expanded its care team to meet increasing demand.
“Dr. Heard’s experience and compassionate approach to care will be a tremendous asset to our patients and the broader community,” said Heather West, Chief Executive Officer at Wellnest. “We’re excited to welcome him to Utah and to continue building a clinic where every patient feels seen, supported, and cared for.”

Dr. Heard’s extensive career includes leadership roles at Baylor College of Medicine, Women’s Specialists of Houston, and The Heard Institute. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he has also served as an educator and researcher, presenting nationally on topics such as male infertility, early pregnancy, and adolescent gynecology.
